Join more than 20 young people and adults as they receive their first Communion in the Episcopal Church at The Diocese of New Jersey’s Latino Festival and worship service beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Sept. 17 at Holy Trinity South River.
The service and the festival will also be carried on the diocese’s Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter feeds, as well as our new live video page on the Web: live.dioceseofnj.org
Holy Trinity is the center of a new, vibrant, and growing Latino ministry, incorporating Latino traditions into Episcopal worship. The day will begin with mass and First Communion celebrated by Bishop William (Chip) Stokes.
After Mass, the community and guests will join together for a meal, music, art presentations and a display of Venezuelan dancing.
Latino ministries are among the fastest growing segments of the Episcopal Church. Please come out to help celebrate.
Service will be live below at 10:00 a.m. Saturday
