All Saints’ Sunday, November 6, at 4 PM.
Choral Evensong, featuring the Choir of Saint Andrew’s singing the Preces and Responses by William Byrd; Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis by Charles Villiers Stanford, and the motet Justorum Animae, also by Stanford. The service will close with the offering of the Requiem by Gabriel Fauré, accompanied by organ and chamber orchestra. Soloists are Carolyn Hanif, Soprano; James Splond, Bass; Cassandra Lambros, Violin; and Alison Simpson, Harp. Music is under the direction of Michael T. Kevane, Organist and Choirmaster.
The prelude will include selections for concert Harp before liturgy.
Names of the dead may be submitted at the door. The names will be read aloud during the liturgy.
