“Be still and know that I am God!" (Psalm 46:10) Our world is complex and it can be overwhelming and our thoughts can sometimes be scattered. Where is God in
In the midst of the preparations for celebrating Christmas, you are invited to this service of remembrance and healing. We remember those who we love but see no more and those relationships that are broken. We remember the changes and losses we grieve. Sometimes we can feel very alone in the midst of this season when there is a constant call to be cheerful. We will gather in the church, bringing our needs before God through the scriptures, quiet meditation, and prayer candle lighting, and prayers for healing. We will support one another and give thanks for the God who offers us the hope and comfort of his holy Word. We will hear again God’s promise: “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who lived in a land of deep shadows-on them light has shined” (Isaiah 9:2). If you now of someone who is in pain, or in need of hope, because of their losses, please invite them. All people are welcome here.
Fill out the simple form below and we will be in touch as soon as possible!
