At the ECS-NJ Summit on Building and Equipping the Beloved Community on Oct. 16, 2021, Keynote Speaker Dr. DeBorah Gilbert White, advocate for the homeless, expands the narrative connected to homelessness, housing insecurity, and lifts housing as a human right. Developed and led by people with the lived experience of homelessness, social justice advocates, along with diversity, inclusion, and equity specialists, the summit provides guidance for movement beyond charity to advocacy supporting social change.
