ECS-NJ Fall Grant Applications Open, Applications Due September 9
The ECS-NJ grants of between $7,000–$15,000 are designed to expand existing charity and justice ministries of congregations and make new ones possible. You are encouraged to review the guidelines & application and apply! Please note that the application and guidelines have been updated from earlier rounds. Applications will be accepted no later than Friday, Sept. 9, 2022.
Projects should address one or more of the following objectives:
- To meet human need in underserved and marginalized communities, especially communities of color
- To engage, collaborate, and partner with other organizations, including faith-based, secular, community, governmental, etc.
- To encourage advocacy for issues relating to social justice, including spearheading new advocacy efforts

New this fall: Applications may be submitted in English, Spanish or Haitian Creole. Individual consultations on draft grant proposals are available for complete draft proposals emailed to the grants team as word or google docs between August 8 and 19.Sample ECS-NJ Grant Application
