On Wednesday, June 1, members of Sts. Stephen & Barnabas Episcopal Church in Florence, Christ Episcopal Church Palmyra, along with Fr. Ryan Paetzold, Fr. Andrew Hanyzewski, and Canon Steve Welch met with Congressman Andy Kim (NJ-CD3) to discuss concerns about obstacles to healthcare access. The group shared personal stories that highlighted the problems inherent with our current system, high costs, and the challenges of navigating the healthcare system, including extra challenges for those without health insurance, and those who are undocumented. All of those gathered expressed their commitment to the issues, and their shared values to care for the most vulnerable.
