Confirmation is an important rite of passage for those seeking full membership in the Episcopal Church. Even with potential restrictions due to the ongoing pandemic, it’s important that we’re able to gather as a Diocese to celebrate the commitment of our confirmands. We will hold the Fall Diocesan-wide Confirmation at Trinity Cathedral on Saturday, October 2 at 10:00 a.m. Contact Canon Valerie Balling by September 24 with the names of those you will be presenting for Confirmation, Reception, or Reaffirmation of Faith. Current attendance capacity at Trinity Cathedral is 150 persons. Confirmands’ guests will be determined by the number of confirmands registered. We will notify confirmands of the number of guests they may invite one week before. For other family members and friends, the service will be live-streamed. Masks will be required of all persons attending. If CDC or RRR Task Force guidelines change, it could affect capacity limits or this Confirmation date may be cancelled and rescheduled.
