“The gifts he gave were that some would be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until all of us come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ.” – Ephesians 4:11-13
Join us on Saturday, February 12, for our diocesan Discipleship Conference. This one-day conference on Zoom will highlight a variety of topics that can help equip us and others for lifelong ministry as disciples of Jesus Christ. All are welcome—clergy, lay leaders, and all disciples.
Sessions include:
- Messy Church: It’s Church but Not as You Know It
- Stretching Out Our Arms of Love to the World (Global Goals Task Force and ERD)
- Episcopal Community Services
- The Restoration Project (parish-level discipleship groups)
- Coaches Assisting Parents (using our coaching network to equip parents as faith-formers)
- Plus a keynote from Bishop Stokes!
We have a full day of worship, sharing, fellowship, and, most of all, Discipleship! The day runs from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm—log on as you can, or stay for the whole event.
