“Be still and know that I am God!" (Psalm 46:10) Our world is complex and it can be overwhelming and our thoughts can sometimes be scattered. Where is God in
The George E. Councell Memorial Golf Outing, the Cathedral’s largest annual fundraiser, is a great day of fun and fellowship. Started in 2004, the event has raised more than $500,000 in support of the Cathedral’s ministries. This year, we are excited to welcome Bishop French as she continues the tradition set by her predecessors, Bishop Councell and Bishop Stokes.
A new addition this year is pickleball. We will host clinics for beginners and intermediates, after which participants may play on Mercer County Park’s new courts. (Pickleball slots are limited and just $60, including fee for play and meals.) Afterward, it’s a joyous reception and hearty repast, not just for the players but all the Cathedral’s friends. There, in addition to presenting awards to the competition’s winners, including the coveted Bishop’s Cup, attendees will enjoy dinner, enter to win fun prizes, and meet our new Bishop!
