Deconstruyendo los Sistemas que Perpetúan la Opresión y la Desigualdad Racial y Étnica
El racismo afecta a los hispanoamericanos y a los inmigrantes y solicitantes de asilo de habla hispana tanto como a los afroamericanos, asiáticos, judíos y otras personas de color en Estados Unidos. Comprender el impacto del racismo es fundamental para poder desmantelarlo. Lo invitamos a que participe de una capacitación de antirracismo en español el sábado 1 de abril de 2023 de 9:30 a. m. a 4:30 p. m.
Los temas de discusión incluirán: historia, resistencia, análisis del poder, la definición de raza y racismo; opresión racial internalizada, superioridad racial internalizada; racismo institucionalizado, racismo cultural y cambio institucional versus cambio personal.
Al final del día, evaluaremos qué podemos hacer para avanzar hacia convertirnos en una sociedad antirracista.
