In the past, funds have been used to help purchase a used car and provide security deposits for housing, among other items.
Holy Apostles’ Ruth and Naomi Fund is a way in which the church heeds the words: “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this; to care for orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.” (James 1:27). The fund helps widows/widowers of the parish with special needs grants through an application process. In the past, funds have been used to help purchase a used car and provide security deposits for housing, among other items.
