The Faithful Servant Scholarship Fund (FSSF) was founded to provide scholarships for eligible students in the School for Deacons. For many, the financial burden of tuition can preclude persons of lower economic standing or those on a fixed income from answering a call to the diaconate. Deacons are an integral part of the Body of Christ in the Diocese of New Jersey and serve our communities in many different ways.
Through this scholarship it is our intent to provide opportunities for those with limited financial resources in realizing their call to the diaconate. The investment will certainly reap dividends for many years to come as these persons are ordained and come to serve Christ throughout our communities and churches.
All donations should be sent to Canon Phyllis Jones at the Diocese of New Jersey with “The Faithful Servant Scholarship Fund” in the memo line of the check.
