The Rev. Canon Richard Wrede was appointed Archivist and Historiographer in 2013. He earned a BA in History (summa cum laude) from Fairleigh Dickinson University, an MS in Library Service from Columbia University and a Masters of Divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary. He holds a certificate from the Society of American Archivists. Ordained in 1990, he is currently priest-in-charge of St. John’s Church in Chews Landing, NJ. He lives with his wife Anne and retired greyhound racers in Woodbury, NJ.
