Nominating Committee Seeking Nominations
The Diocesan Nominating Committee is highlighting those
offices that are in need of nominees.
The Standing Commission on Clerical Compensation shall serve as a source of advice and counsel to all parishes and employers of clergy in the diocese, and shall make recommendations on minimum clerical salaries, allowances, housing, and other compensations and benefits within its discretion as it sees fit. The Commission on Clerical Compensation consists of six clergy canonically resident in the Diocese and six lay persons who are communicants of Congregations in the Diocese. Two clerical and two lay members shall be elected each year for three-year terms.. Persons interested in serving should be knowledgeable in the areas of personnel/human resources, insurance, statistics, or clergy lifestyles. The committee meets during the day about six times a year, currently via Zoom at 2:30 on a Wednesday.
