What is the Easter Vigil?

Episode 9 in the “What is Lent?” video series

The Easter Vigil is the first celebration of the resurrection of Jesus. Held between 6 p.m. on Holy Saturday and 6 a.m. on Easter morning, the Easter Vigil moves us from the time of mourning and expectation from Christ’s death, into the joy of his resurrection. Join clergy from the Diocese as they discuss the beliefs, practices and traditions behind the Easter Vigil.
