The people of Haddonfield, in particular Grace Church, Haddonfield, have been collecting breakfast sandwiches from local Wawas to distribute to the needy. In 2021, we collected and distributed more than 20,000 pieces of Wawa food to the people of Camden. This year, we’re on track to distribute more than 23,000.

Almost every weekday, a team of Grace members pick up sandwiches from Wawa that can be prepared and given as hot meals through various ministry connections.

We distribute our Wawa food deliveries through local food pantries and food service ministries including, Joseph’s House, St. Wilfrid’s, Heart of Camden, and St. Paul’s.

Area Wawas that generously donate food to the program include Cherry Hill, Magnolia, Collingswood, and Audubon.

This is a unique ministry and opportunity to provide desirable food to folks who may not have access to it on a regular basis. I just started here as interim rector on Sept. 18 and it is an amazing program. I am so excited to be at a place that is providing desirable food to folks who are hungry.
