The Bishop Search and Nomination Committee has been busy discussing the details of the work needed to be accomplished between now and January 2023. In a retreat held in early December, the group came together to receive training on the search process. We have organized into subcommittees. Valaida Wynn is the chair of the Bishop Search and Nomination Committee. Matthew Tucker has been selected vice chair, and Maria Sanzo as the chaplain for the committee. We will be engaging the diocese at-large throughout February. Please watch for a survey of congregations to be released next week. The survey will help us gather information as we prepare the profile for the diocese. Another way for everyone to participate in the search process will be through listening sessions being held during throughout February and March.
