We are seeking a Head of School to promote academic excellence, manage operations, nurture parent relationships, and lead staff development. The Head of School reports to the Rector and the School Board President, and is accountable to the School Board and the Vestry. The Head of School will work alongside an Assistant Head of School, who is responsible for curriculum and instruction.
St. Martin’s Montessori School is a ministry of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in Bridgewater, NJ. St. Martin’s is an accredited Montessori Preschool, creating a nurturing environment for the growth and development of children from infancy to Kindergarten. We value diversity, and respect and celebrate the religious and cultural backgrounds of all of our students, while also sharing the Christian experience of the love of God revealed and known in Jesus Christ through optional participation in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. We are a small preschool: we prefer to keep enrollment between 65-70 students.
Qualifications
Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education, Educational Leadership, or equivalent
Montessori training qualifications from a recognized Montessori Training Body
5+ years experience in the classroom

$60,000/ year (negotiable)
