Your congregation has a story to tell, a story of discipleship. A story of Christ’s love as shown by the people of your church. The way you spread your story to the world is how you spread the story of a loving God.
There are a couple of very easy tools you can use to tell the world about your congregation, your way of serving God’s kingdom.
Episcopal Asset Map
The first is Episcopal Asset Map, a Web site that lets anyone find any Episcopal church or ministry, and lets any member of that congregation or ministry add or update information.
It’s easy. Find your church or ministry on the map, and then click “More Details.” On that page, you can see how your listing looks to the world. Click the links to share a story or a video. If your information is out of date or incomplete, click on the “Update This Place” link above its title. From here, you can suggest updates and changes to the information. Be sure to look at all the tabs on the survey page, add your name and email address in case we have questions, and click the “Save and Submit” button before navigating away from the page. This will send the suggested edits to the diocese for approval.
Congregation Profiles
We’ve been collecting profiles of every congregation in the diocese and posting them to the “Know Our Story” magazine site and our “Find a Church” page.
