Online Safe Church Training:

Armatus Learn to Protect System, our current online safe church training partner, is upgrading to a new platform and becoming Praesidium Academy during the week of July 12.

If you have taken the online training within the last four years, you will receive an email that week from the new system inviting you to log in. Your log in will be your email but you will be asked to update your password, via the guided steps in the system.

You might also see emails from the system stating that one or more of your required trainings has expired. Please note, based on the Diocese of New Jersey’s training requirements, our recertification is every five years.  You can disregard the reminders and be sure to take your courses at the five-year expiration date.  Remember that our policy requires onsite initial training before taking online training.

If you get stuck on any part within the new system, click on the down arrow next to your name, and select the “support” link on the drop down menu. This will take you to the support page that has many resources available to help you navigate Academy.

Anyone who has taken the initial training onsite and wishes to take the online recertification, please contact Ann Notte to receive an invite to the new system.  Be sure to include your name, email, position, church and town.
