“Voting and participation in our government is a way of participating in our common life and that is a Christian obligation.”
-Presiding Bishop Michael Curry

A recent poll shows that only 13 percent of Americans think the country is on the right track. Whether you agree with that or not, one of the best ways to advocate for change at the local, county, state, and national level is to vote for candidates who say they stand for the same things you stand for.

Oct. 18 is the deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 8 General Election. To make sure you’re ready to vote, visit the NJ Voter Information Portal on the State of New Jersey Web site. Find out if you’re already registered, register online or by mail, and find out how students away at college can vote.

Stand up for your beliefs as a Christian and as an Episcopalian. Vote!
