Last-Minute Info for Convention Delegates

All delegates—clergy and lay—should have already submitted their registration for the Diocesan Convention on March 5. If you have not, or you have questions, email Mary Ann Clisham in the diocesan office today. Please do not wait any longer to avoid delays in being admitted to the convention on Zoom.

Remember: Completing the Deputies Certification Form does not automatically register lay deputies for convention.

After diocesan staff confirms registrations, voting members will receive a Zoom registration link. Registration for the Zoom is required before you receive your voting credentials. Again, do not delay registering for the Zoom or you may not receive your voting credentials. Voting members will receive an email with their credentials from the voting company.

Note

Voting members refers to canonical clergy and elected lay deputies eligible to vote.
Non-voting participants refers to licensed clergy, alternates, and guests.

If you are not a voting member, you may watch the convention on the diocese YouTube channel here.

Pre-Convention Hearings
If you were unable to attend one of the four pre-convention hearings held in the past two weeks, you are asked and encouraged to watch the recording of the Feb. 14 hearing here. This will give you a much better grasp of the budget you’ll be voting for as well as the resolutions being considered.
