The Project Resource team will be offering a new workshop focused on Planned Giving in November:
Join us for Project Resource’s November Planned Giving Workshop on Monday, November 21 at 6pm–7pm Register Here
During the workshops, we will share survey results, provide an understanding of the benefits for both donors and churches of planned giving, and help you determine if your congregation is ready to start a planned giving ministry. Together, we will explore various planned giving vehicles and resources, like knowing what to do when a bequest or other gift comes to you.
Your feedback helps the Project Resource team to serve you better. Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey and we look forward to seeing you at one of our November workshops!
Together in Christ,
Your Project Resource Team
The Stewardship Commission of the Diocese of New Jersey
What is Planned Giving?
Planned giving is a process of legal, financial, charitable, and tax planning that allows donors to address other estate planning while making a substantial gift.
Interesting Fact about Planned Giving:
The average age of someone who makes their first charitable bequest commitment is 40–50.
Why Planned Giving?
Maximize your fundraising by asking for planned gifts. Learn how to communicate with donors about their wealth and their financial assets – not just their cash – and how a planned gift can provide them with current income, an inheritance for their heirs and a legacy through your charitable organization.
