The Diocesan Cycle of Prayer contains intercessions for each cleric, church, and for various ministries within the Diocese of New Jersey. This cycle lists the names of all priests in the Diocese of New Jersey [parochial, non-parochial, and licensed] on the dates of their ordination to the priesthood. Deacons are listed on the dates of their ordination to the Diaconate. Bishops are listed on the dates of their consecration.
When the cycle is used for Sunday worship only, please include each name listed for the week to ensure that the entire cycle is prayed.
The Diocesan Cycle of Prayer is offered to our congregations and clergy with the hope that it may be used to enrich the faith and worship of the people of the Diocese of New Jersey.
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened” (Matthew 7:7-8).
