Deadline Aug. 30 to Submit a “Woman of Honor”

ECW Women of Honor
Nominations Due Aug. 30
Ceremony Oct. 16:

Every three years, Episcopal Church Women of the Diocese of New Jersey honor women who exemplify the ministry of ECW and who serve as exceptionally dedicated volunteers in their congregation and community. We need your nominations!

Each congregation may nominate one singular woman for the honor. She may be on the vestry, a warden, Altar Guild member, choir member, volunteer in the food pantry, prayer shawl ministry, a LEM, lector, usher, or all of the above.  This is a woman everyone looks up to and learns from, someone who is involved  and serves God with joy!  She has demonstrated hard work, love, and exceptional devotion to her parish, and she is an example to others

Nominations are submitted by the congregation’s ECW president, along with either the lead clergy or warden (when there is no clergy or ECW officer present). The officers of ECW determine this nominee.  The Rector, Vicar, Interim Minister, Deacon, Warden (where there is no Clergy or ECW at present), and the ECW President can submit the application. The deadline is August 30, 2021.

The following information is needed:

Honoree: Name, address, telephone, email, church name and Town.
Nominator: Name, address, telephone, email, church name and Town.

Send an email telling us in 150 words or less why the nominee is deserving.

The deadline is August 30, 2021.
