Parish Administrator Job Description
Position Time Requirements: Part-time; 20 hours per week (possible remote work hours may be negotiated after a period of time)
Salary: $20/hour
Reports to: The Rector of the parish.
Administrative Duties:
- Manage the church
- Answer phones and greets
- Offer a knowledgeable presence during office
- Facilitate church communication networks: bulletins, phones,
- Create and produce all weekly & special service bulletins
- Produce and send out weekly e-mail blasts
- Update the church website and other social media in conjunction with staff and volunteers as requested by the Rector
- Manage office policy enforcement: building use, bulletin boards, mailboxes, flyers,
- Manage the flow of
- Facilitate and schedule building usage and rentals in conjunction with staff and relevant committee
- Maintain and communicate the master church
- Update the bulletin boards and alert volunteers to changes in conjunction with the Outreach and ministry
- Order all office and janitorial supplies for the
- File (bills, deposits, ).
- Complete special projects as directed by Rector and/or
- Develop and support team of office volunteers.

- Be a friendly interface between the parish and visitors/community

- Work closely and collaboratively with parish staff members and lay
- Be disciplined and diligent with time
- Deliberate and meaningful conversations are expected one-on-one with the Rector on a regular
Background Experience:
- Experience in overseeing office
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (including Publisher), Realm, Constant Contact
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a
