Celebrate Our Clergy on Sept. 8

Contributed by: The Rev. Susanna Cates, All Saints Scotch Plains

The Diocese of New Jersey is blessed with joyful, involved clergy in our parishes, colleges, universities, and other schools, healthcare systems, and many other places. And our diocesan staff walks alongside us and ministers with and to us every day. We’re grateful for the work that we share as part of our life in God and in the Church!

To celebrate our gratitude and collegiality, we invite all diocesan clergy and staff to join us on Thursday, September 8, at 10 am at Trinity Cathedral for a brief service of Morning Prayer, time with Bishop Stokes and our diocesan staff, and fun ice-breakers and conversations together. We’ll conclude our time with a delicious lunch! This event is free of charge, and open to retired and active clergy and diocesan staff members.

We’re so excited to be with you, to hear your stories, to reconnect with old friends, create bonds with our newer clergy, and learn more about all that our relationships can bring to our various ministries. Thanks for all that you do in the Diocese of New Jersey—you are loved!
