The Very Rev. Brian Burgess, until his election the rector of Christ Church Woodbury, will be consecrated as the twelfth bishop of the Diocese of Springfield on Saturday with Bishop Stokes participating.
The liturgy of Ordination and Consecration will take place on Saturday, May 21 at noon Eastern (11:00 a.m. local time) in the Cathedral Church of St Paul the Apostle in Springfield, Illinois, with a reception immediately following. The service will be livestreamed on the Springfield diocesan website homepage. The homepage is shown below and will feature the livestream when it is active.
