The Second Sunday of Easter, April 24, Bishop Stokes visited Christ Church, Somers Point to confirm seven, and receive one person into our church, as well as perform one reaffirmation of baptismal vows. Boy Scout Troop 55, chartered by Christ Church, served as an honor guard. The youth enjoyed interacting with the bishop in conversation and faith sharing. A parish reception followed to welcome the bishop and celebrate the confirmands next phase in their faith journey.
