Haitian

Father Robin Pierre serves as the Missioner for Haitians for the Diocese of New Jersey. Haitian ministry is a heartfelt commitment to sharing Christ’s love within diverse communities and nurturing their social and spiritual well-being. Focused on planting and growing church communities across the diocese, my vision is to create vibrant, welcoming spaces where each individual feels valued and empowered to live out their faith.

This ministry leads us to neighborhoods with high numbers of newly arrived Haitian immigrants, where I strive to understand their needs, extend the Gospel message, and invite them to belong to a new church family. Building these relationships is central to our work, as we aim to make each person feel at home in the church.

We conduct services in Creole and French to connect deeply with the community, planting seeds for growth through ministries such as ESL programs, job training, and immigration support services. We are grateful to serve in these communities and walk alongside each individual on their faith journey.
