Urban Revitalization Task Force The mission of the Urban Revitalization Task Force of the Diocese of New Jersey is to reset the relationship between the Episcopal church and people of color, especially urban communities where historically Black churches are located.Our work will fulfill the mission of the Episcopal church: proclaiming the Good News; teaching, baptizing and nurturing new believers; responding to human need through loving service; transforming unjust structures of society; challenging violence; and pursuing peace and reconciliation.
