Robin Pierre was born and raised in Haiti where he was a member of the Missionary Religions Congregation (CICM) – The Congregation of the Immaculate of Mary – in the Roman Catholic Church. He served as missionary in The Dominican Republic for three years and in Mexico for two years. His wife Marie Eugene and he have two sons. Currently, he is a missioner of the Episcopal Haitian Minsitry of The Diocese of NJ. He also participates in the Chaplain Ministry of the Seaman’s Institute. In addition, he serves as Assistant Priest at St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church in Elizabeth. Robin states that he is proud to be part of the ECS-NJ mission. He goes on to say that as Episcopalians, as Christians, it is mandatory that we “do justice and practice justice.”
