The Reverend Dr. David Snyder recently celebrated the 35th anniversary of his ordination. His career has proven rich and full as he has served in the Lutheran Church before being called to serve in the Episcopal Church beginning in 2000 as part time rector at St .Peter’s in Bridgton, Maine. In 2008, Father Dave was officially welcomed into the Episcopal Church and the Diocese of NJ. He retired as Rector of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Mt. Holly, NJ in January 2019. Prior to his call to St. Andrew’s, Father Dave served as interim Rector at The Church of the Good Shepherd in Pitman. His wife and he reside in Burlington, NJ. They are the proud parents of four and grandparents of eight. For more than a decade, Dave served as a major gift fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity, International, as well as for World Vision — USA. He is currently serving as Development Officer for ECS—NJ. The list goes on with a number of other worthy causes. Dave is excited to be involved in building a solid financial foundation for this new organization, ECS–NJ which he believes possesses the potential to ignite an “epidemic of compassion” for social justice in the churches of the Diocese of NJ.
