Our Mission: To restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ

OUR MISSION

To restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ.

Fellowship is Christ Church’s charism. Charism comes from the Greek meaning favor or gift from God. We hope that from the moment you step inside our doors, you feel welcome and that our hospitality continues with our Hospitality Hour after both our 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. services.

The people of Christ Church care about our world and hope to live into our Baptismal Covenant to serve Christ in all people. We do this on an ecumenical basis with our work and donations to Grace Lutheran Church’s Food Bank in Somers Point. We also support our local community, as well as persons and communities in need in other parts of the United States and the Developing Countries.

Most of our Outreach Ministry involves personal time and effort in support of our local Shore Memorial Hospital and the Atlantic City Rescue Mission. Several of our parishioners volunteer to help at the hospital in various ways. Every year, the parish organizes a collection of toys for children of families served by the Atlantic City Rescue Mission. In addition, personal care items are donated for the children’s mothers so that each child may give their mother a Christmas gift.
