St. Luke’s Episcopal Church “An Old Fashioned Christmas Fair”
November 23 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pmFree
A 60-year tradition in the Somerset Hills, the St. Luke’s Church Fair has maintained much of the old-fashioned magic of its early roots. Always the Saturday before Thanksgiving, this year it falls on November 23, from 9-2 PM, at 182 Main Street in Gladstone. Parishioners work for months, creating handmade goods to sell to the community. All proceeds are given to charitable outreach. The doors open to a line of excited shoppers – there is no entrance charge. The early birds can enjoy warm-from-the-oven scones with jam and clotted cream which are a huge draw and disappear quickly. Reindeer rides are offered at 11 AM for the younger customers, and a sit-down luncheon is served at 11:30.
Attractions include Photos with Santa, children’s games and shopping, an iPhone raffle, the Canterbury Boutique filled with antiques and handcrafts, Canterbury (vendor) Marketplace, Wooden Crafts which offers birdhouses and small wooden furnishings, Gourmet to Go frozen gourmet foods, Country Cupboard baked and cans goods, Nature’s Creations floral décor, the Attic Treasures rummage sale, and Toy Chest.
Start your shopping early, and join in this wonderful tradition. There is fun for the whole family. For more information on St. Luke’s Church, go to www.stlukesgladstone.org, or with questions about the Holiday Fair, call 908-234-0002 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
