October 25, 2014 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
We are pleased to offer a FREE workshop on endowments and planned giving on Saturday, October 25, 2014, at St. Matthew’s, Pennington.
Basics of Endowment and Planned Giving:
This workshop will review basic principles and best practices for endowment management. You will examine important, and easy to use, documents to use for structuring your endowment and for clarifying its purpose. Participants will also learn about endowment policies and investment options which not only seek to protect an existing endowment, but will demonstrate how endowments can be used as to enhance your ministries and overall mission, and build trust and confidence among your potential donors. You will also learn how to use The Episcopal Church Foundation (ECF)’s new Planned Giving on Demand toolkit for growing your endowment through planned gifts. The first thirty congregations to register for this workshop will receive a complimentary copy of this toolkit, courtesy of ECF and the Diocese of New Jersey.
ECF Managing Program Director, James W. N. Murphy, and ECF Consultant, Lynn Mander, will conduct this workshop.
