August 19 @ 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Frontline Fellowship for First Responders Tuesdays @ 8:00 p.m. Register now: https://bit.ly/FFFR-DNJ Join our Facebook Group Frontline Fellowship for First Responders is a peer support group for medical practitioners and first responders working within the COVID-19 pandemic environment, sponsored by the Episcopal Diocese of New Jersey. Acceptance in the group is based on the shared experiences of individual practitioners and responders, as well as each person’s desire to attend the group. Individuals are encouraged to attend regularly, but can “drop-in” for a session on an intermittent as-needed basis. Each fellowship gathering is conducted by at least one seasoned facilitator providing “guidance from the side” to encourage direct peer-to-peer interaction in a safe and welcoming environment. Confidentiality is assured by each participant’s agreement to adhere to a “what is said here stays here” guideline, with one exception. The facilitator is required to except confidentiality if he/she learns that a participant is considering or has a specific intent to harm self or others. The facilitator will ensure that participants are sharing and not advising one another. The facilitator also observes for underlying themes and may highlight some of those as points for group discussion. The group collectively establishes guidelines for meaningful communication where participants can share what they are experiencing in an open and unedited fashion, without fear of judgement. Each person controls the amount of information he/she individually shares. There is no requirement to speak during a fellowship gathering. Participants may wish to use only first names. The facilitator may wish to use opening and closing rituals to provide structure and continuity to the group process.
