Interfaith Community Action Network (Somerset County area) presents:  Navigating Youth Angst:  An Interfaith Forum For Parents & Teens. Sunday, April 28th from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at St. John's Episcopal Church, 158 West High Street, Somerville, NJ 08876. Keynote:  From Surviving To Thriving  Navigating Adolescent Angst (Patricia Colontino, PsyD, Crisis Psychologist & Anti-Bullying Specialist Hillsborough High School. Concurrent breakout sessions: Building Resilience, How Teens think, Recognizing Our Strengths:  A Discussion for Teens and What adults need to know about us - an opportunity to hear from teens. Don’t miss our 11th annual Recovery Sunday Celebration Sunday, April 28 at 3 p.m. Trinity Cathedral, Trenton Celebrant: The Rt. Rev. William H. (Chip) Stokes, Bishop of the Diocese of New Jersey Preacher: The Rev. C. Thomas Hayes, Ret. The Rev. Christopher T. Hayes III (Tom) is a native of central Virginia, having grown up on a dairy farm. He attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University where he received a B.A. in Arts and Sciences. He served in the US Air Force and flew ANG fighter jets. He flew for Pan American World Airways. He attended Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry earning a Master of Divinity. He served as rector, assistant rector, priest-in-charge and interim rector in several churches in Virginia, Texas and New York. He is retired, living in Culpepper, VA, with Julie, his wife of 55 years.They have three sons and four granddaughters. He loves to preach and celebrate the Holy Eucharist. His hobbies include fishing, hunting, wood-work and traveling, as well as spending time with family and friends. Tom has been in recovery for more than 30 years. All are welcome to this celebration of new life and new hope:recovering alcoholics, addicts, family members, friends, and advocates. Share the good news with AA, NA, Alanon, Alateen, and all the 12-step groups that meet in our congregations. Reception to follow service
