Strive to Safeguard the Integrity of Creation and Sustain and Renew the Life of the Earth
The Animal Welfare Ministry embraces our responsibility as stewards of God’s creation. Our goal is to open hearts and minds as we strive to heal the spiritual disconnection with God’s creatures that has led to the abuse and exploitation of animals for human gain.
Our activities and resources include
An Educational and Awareness Forum suitable for a Sunday morning Christian Formation class.
Outreach to our local community and beyond.
Partnering with the Humane Society Faith Outreach to support advocacy programs
The provision of liturgical resources and counseling for the loss of a companion animal.
Visit our Resource section for more information and find ways of making your parish animal friendly! To get involved or to join our mailing list, please contact Deacon Christopher Cox.
