The Standing Commission on Clerical Compensation (SCCC) continues to provide resources and collect information to ensure that all clergy are adequately, equitably and correctly compensated according to the Canons of our Diocese.
We need the support of all vestries and clergy to make sure this process is faithfully followed. Your participation in completing the process by submitting the annual Compensation Reports will help us obtain our goal. These documents are below.
For your convenience, instructions on how to use the dynamic versions of the Full-Time and Part-Time 2016 Compensation Report and 2017Compensation Projection are on below. Please note that the Report must be returned to the SCCC by March 1. Reports can be sent to SCCC@dioceseofnj.org. When we receive accurate information, we are better prepared use that data, ensuring compliance and make statistically correct recommendations.
The SCCC has been directed that its recommendations for any changes to clerical compensation be communicated to the missions, parishes and institutions of the Diocese by November 1st of each year. The Commission takes several factors into consideration when offering these recommendations, including economic factors, increases to health care and industry standards.
