The 5 Marks of Mission
The Five Marks of Mission, developed by the Anglican Consultative Council between 1984 and 1990, have won wide acceptance among Anglicans, and have given parishes and diocese around the world a practical and memorable way of considering missional activities. They were adopted by General Convention in 2009.

Loren was prescient in recognizing the western Church had entered what he labeled a “post-Christendom era.” He recognized that the days of the Church enjoying a privileged and cozy relationship with the wider culture and its structures were over.
